About

A fire, a community, an hour and a half.

Bristol Men's Fire is a small fortnightly circle for men who want a place to land. We meet outdoors at Haven Community Garden, light a small fire, sit around it, and take turns being heard.

What it is

A circle of up to ten men. We open the space, each take a turn to speak (or not), and close together. No facilitator with answers — just a held container, a fire, and the quiet that comes with both.

What it isn't

It's not therapy, not a workshop, not a networking thing. There may be themes, but there's no curriculum. If you've been carrying something, this is somewhere to set it down for ninety minutes.

The practicalities

Every other Thursday from 8 October to 17 December. First timers can come for free, a six-session block is £40.00, and drop-ins are £7.50. Ten spots a session. Blankets and cushions available. We'll be outside or in the roundhouse, depending on the weather.
